Project description:In the title compound, C26H22N2O, one phenyl ring, one five-membered N-heterocyclic ring and one six-membered carbocyclic ring make up the hexa-hydro-benzo[f]iso-indole core. Another phenyl group is attached to the heterocyclic N atom as a substituent. The non-aromatic five- and six-membered rings both exhibit boat conformations. In the crystal, weak C-H?O and C-H?N inter-actions establish the observed three-dimensional structure. The crystal studied was refined as an inversion twin.

Project description:In the title compound, C17H17N5, the dihedral angle between the 1H-pyrazolo-[3,4-b]pyridine ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.001 Å) and the attached phenyl group is 2.56 (6)°. The propyl-amino side chain has a contorted conformation [Car-N-C-C = -77.97 (16)° and N-C-C-C = -57.37 (17)°]. An intra-molecular C-H⋯N inter-action closes an S(6) ring. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds generate R 2 (2)(12) loops. Aromatic π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.5726 (8) Å] are also observed.

Project description:In the title compound, C(16)H(14)N(4)O(2)S, the plane of the indole ring is twisted by 70.4 (2)° with respect to the plane of the azidomethyl- substituent. As a result of the electron-withdrawing character of the phenyl-sulfonyl groups, the N-C bond lengths are slightly longer than the anti-cipated value of approximately 1.355 Å for an N atom with a planar configuration. The indole ring is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.0296 Å. The azide group is almost linear, the N-N-N angle being 171.4 (3)°. The methyl group on the azide-substituted C atom is in a flagpole position. The phenyl ring of the sulfonyl substituent makes a dihedral angle of 87.07 (10)° with the best plane of the indole moiety. The crystal packing is stabilized by inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions, which link the mol-ecules into infinite chains running parallel to the b axis. The crystal packing is further stabilized by C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Project description:Two independent but very similar mol-ecules comprise the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(17)H(15)NO(2)S. The mol-ecules have L-shapes with the dihedral angles between the fused-ring system (r.m.s. deviations = 0.036 and 0.019?Å, respectively) and the benzene ring being almost the same, i.e. 82.98?(12) and 84.46?(13)°, respectively. The terminal ethenyl group is almost coplanar with the ring to which it is connected [C-C-C-C torsion angles = -173.7?(4) and -171.7?(4)°, respectively]. Supra-molecular arrays parallel to (-124) stabilized by C-H?O and C-H?? inter-actions feature in the crystal packing.
