Platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase (PAF-AH) is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of platelet-activating factor (PAF). A homolog of alpha subunit of PAF-AH(Ib) from Antheraea pernyi (Guérin-Méneville) (Lepidoptera: Saturniidae) (ApPAFAHIbα) was isolated and characterized.
