<h4>Background</h4>Pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) manifests with cutaneous lesions consisting of yellowish papules coalescing into plaques of inelastic skin. Histopathology demonstrates accumulation of pleiomorphic elastic structures with progressive mineralization.
