1-(4-Chloro-phen-yl)-2-[4-hy-droxy-3-(3-meth-oxy-benzo-yl)-1,1-dioxo-2H-1?(6),2-benzothia-zin-2-yl]ethanone.

ABSTRACT: In the title mol-ecule, C(24)H(18)ClNO(6)S, the heterocyclic thia-zine ring adopts a half-chair conformation with the S and N atoms displaced by 0.406?(5) and 0.444?(5)?Å, respectively, on opposite sides of the mean plane formed by the remaining ring atoms. The meth-oxy-benzoyl and the chloro-phenyl rings lie roughly parallel to each other, with a dihedral angle between the mean planes of these rings of 8.86?(10)°. The mol-ecular structure is consolidated by intra-molecular O-H?O and C-H?O inter-actions and the crystal packing is stabilized by inter-molecular O-H?O and C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds.
