ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(17)H(14)N(2)O(2), the central pyridazine ring forms dihedral angles of 47.29?(5) and 88.54?(5)° with the benzene rings, while the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 62.68?(6)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by two weak C-H?O hydrogen bonds and three weak C-H?? inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C21H24N2O2Si, the carbonyl group of the heterocyclic ring and the O atom of the silyl ether group are placed toward opposite sides and the tert-butyl and pyridazinone moieties are anti-oriented across the Si-O bond [torsion angle = -168.44?(19)°]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are assembled into inversion dimers through co-operative N-H?O hydrogen bonds between the NH groups and O atoms of the pyridazinone rings of neighbouring mol-ecules. The dimers are linked by ?-? inter-actions involving adjacent pyridazinone rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.8095?(19)?Å], generating ladder-like chains along the b-axis direction. The chains are further linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to the ab plane through weak C-H?? inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C21H24N2O2Si, a new pyridazin-3(2H)-one derivative, the carbonyl group of the heterocyclic ring and the O atom of the silyl ether are located on the same side of the pyridazinone ring and the C-C-O-Si torsion angle is -140.69?(17)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of strong N-H?O hydrogen bonds into centrosymmetric dimers with graph-set notation R 2 (2)(8). Weak C-H?? inter-actions are also observed.

Crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of 4-(2,6-di-chloro-benz-yl)-6-phenyl-pyridazin-3(2H)-one.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C17H12Cl2N2O, contains one independent mol-ecule. The mol-ecule is not planar, the phenyl and pyridazine rings are twisted with respect to each other, making a dihedral angle of 29.96 (2)° and the di-chloro-phenyl ring is nearly perpendicular to the pyridazine ring, with a dihedral angle of 82.38 (11)°. In the crystal, pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules to form inversion dimers with an R 2 2(8) ring motif. The dimers are linked by C-H⋯O inter-actions, forming layers parallel to the bc plane. The inter-molecular inter-actions were investigated using Hirshfeld surface analysis and two-dimensional fingerprint plots, and the mol-ecular electrostatic potential surface was also analysed. The Hirshfeld surface analysis of the title compound suggests that the most significant contributions to the crystal packing are by H⋯H (31.4%), Cl⋯H/H⋯Cl (19.9%) and C⋯H/H⋯C (19%) contacts.

Project description:In the title methaqua-lone analogue, C(23)H(20)N(2)O(2), the planes of the terminal aromatic rings [dihedral angle between them = 64.52 (7)°] approximately face the fused-ring methyl group and both are twisted with respect to the pyrimidine plane (r.m.s. deviation = 0.028 Å), forming dihedral angles of 86.9 (3) (with the 2-tolyl ring) and 65.57 (7)°. The 2-tolyl residue is disordered over two almost coplanar but opposite orientations with the major component having a site-occupancy factor of 0.893 (3). The three-dimensional crystal packing is consolidated by C-H⋯O, C-H⋯π and π-π [2-tol-yl-2-tolyl centroid-centroid distance = 3.8099 (6) Å] inter-actions.
