[1,1'-Dibenzyl-2,2'-(2-oxapropane-1,3-diyl)di(1H-benzimidazole)-?³N³,O,N³']bis(2,4,6-trinitrophenolato-?O¹)manganese(II).

ABSTRACT: In the title complex, [Mn(C?H?N?O?)?(C??H??N?O)], the Mn(II) atom is coordinated by the tridentate bis-benzimidazole ligand and two atoms of the picrate anions, in a distorted square-pyramidal geometry (? = 0.038). One nitro O atom of one picrate ion is disordered over two sites with occupancies of 0.54?(5) and 0.46?(5).

Project description:In the title compound, [CdBr(2)(C(30)H(26)N(4)S)]·C(3)H(7)NO, both the complex and solvent mol-ecule lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. The Cd(II) ion is coordinated in a disorted square-pyramidal CdBr(2)N(2)S environment with one of the Br atoms in the apical site. In the crystal structure, the benzimidazole ring systems are involved in weak inter-molecular ?-? stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distances = 3.606?(2) and 3.753?(2)?Å]. Further stabilization is provided by weak inter-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bonds. The methyl H atoms of the dimethyl-formamide solvent mol-ecule are disordered about a mirror plane.

Project description:The whole mol-ecule of the title compound, C(20)H(18)N(4)O(4), is generated by an inversion center. The benzimidazole ring mean plane make a dihedral angle of 89.4 (8)° with the plane passing through the acetate group (COO). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.743 (3) Å] involving inversion-related benzimidazole groups.

Project description:The title compound, C(23)H(30)N(2)O(4), is a Mannich base useful for studying the effect of an electron-donating phenol substituent on intra-molecular hydrogen bonding. In the mol-ecular structure, the cyclo-hexane ring adopts a chair conformation and the five-membered ring has a twisted envelope conformation. Each meth-oxy group is oriented in the same plane of the respective aromatic ring, showing torsion angles below 11.8 (3)° and bond angles between the meth-oxy group and the aromatic ring of 116.6 (2) and 116.6 (1)°. The structure shows inter-actions between two the N atoms of the heterocyclic ring and the hy-droxy groups by intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen-bonding inter-actions. In the crystal, C-H⋯O inter-actions are observed. The crystal studied was a racemic mixture of RR and SS enanti-omers.

Project description:The title compound, C(20)H(12)Cl(3)N(3)O(2), was synthesized by the reaction of 2-(2-hydroxy-phen-yl)benz[e][1,3]oxazin-4-one with 2,4,6-trichloro-phenyl-hydrazine in ethanol. The trichloro-phenyl ring is nearly perpendicular to the triazole plane [dihedral angle 80.56 (8)°], whereas the two hydroxy-phenyl rings are approximately coplanar with the triazole ring [dihedral angles of 2.79 (12) and 8.00 (14)°]. Intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bonding is observed between the hydroxy-phenyl and triazole rings.

The two pyridine rings are planar (r.m.s. deviations = 0.008 and 0.00440?Å) and make a dihedral angle of 44.0?(2)°. Intermolecular O-H?F and C-H?F interactions occur. Project description:In the title compound, [CuBr(2)(C(27)H(36)N(4))], the Cu(II) ion exhibits a distorted tetra-hedral coordination geometry provided by two bromide ions and by chelation of two imine N-atom donors from a bis-(benzimidazole) ligand. Chelation results in a six-membered boat-shaped ring which links the benzimidazole groups. Each bis-(benzimidazole) fragment contains three n-butyl substituents, two of which have the expected trans conformation; the third exhibits the higher-energy cis conformation, an orientation consistent with several short intra-molecular C-H⋯Br inter-actions. Essentially planar (r.m.s. deviations of 0.0101 and 0.0183 Å) benzimidazole groups are oriented so as to give the bis-(benzimidazole) fragment a V-shaped appearance in profile with the cis and trans n-butyl groups directed to opposite sides of the planes. In the crystal, columns of mol-ecules along the b-axis direction form layers parallel to the (202) planes. Within a given column, the mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds. The mol-ecules in adjacent columns are also linked by inter-molecular C-H⋯π interactions, forming a three-dimensional network.

The substituents on the N atoms of the central five-membered heterocycle are arranged trans with respect to the central ring. The terminal benzotriazole rings are oriented at angles of 74.66?(8) and 84.18?(8)° with respect to the mean plane of the central heterocycle. The angle between the two benzotriazole rings is 30.80?(9)°. The bond lengths and angles are within normal ranges; the largest deviation from expecta-tion is for a long N-CH(2) bond length [1.476?(2)?Å] as a consequence of an anomeric effect. In the crystal, mol-ecules are connected by C-H?N hydrogen bonds.
