N-(3-Amino-bicyclo-[2.2.1]heptan-2-yl)-4-methyl-benzene-sulfonamide.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(14)H(20)N(2)O(2)S, the sulfonamide O atoms lie to one side of the benzene ring and the amino-bicyclo-hepta-nyl to the other side [C(ar)-S-N-C torsion angle = -57.93?(11)°; ar = aromatic]. An intra-molecular N-H?N hydrogen bond is formed. In the crystal, a supra-molecular chain is formed along the b axis via N-H?O and N-H?N hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the title compound, C(14)H(16)N(2)O(3)S, the dihedral angle between the phenyl and 5-methyl-furan groups is 54.89 (14)° and the C=N bond assumes a trans conformation. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate R(2) (2)(8) ring motifs. The dimers are inter-linked by N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, resulting in the formation of infinite chains extending along the b axis. The packing is consolidated by weak C-H⋯π inter-actions.
