Bis[(E)-3-(4-meth-oxy-phen-yl)prop-2-enoato]triphenyl-anti-mony(V) benzene monosolvate.

ABSTRACT: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Sb(C6H5)3(C10H9O3)2]·C6H6, contains one organometallic mol-ecule and one benzene mol-ecule that is disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.556?(15):0.444?(15). The Sb(V) atom is in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal environment with the carboxyl-ate O atoms in axial positions and phenyl C atoms in the equatorial plane. As a result of additional Sb?O inter-actions, one of the C-Sb-C angles is widened to 140.19?(6)°.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Sb(C6H5)3(C10H9O3)2]·C6H6, contains one organometallic mol-ecule and one benzene mol-ecule that is disordered over two sets of sites with an occupancy ratio of 0.556 (15):0.444 (15). Project description:The title complex, [Sb(C(6)H(5))(3)(C(8)H(4)F(3)O(2))(2)], is located on a twofold axis defined by the metal center and two C atoms of a coordinated phenyl group. The environment of the Sb atom approximates a trigonal-bipyramidal geometry, with the axial positions occupied by the O atoms of symmetry-related 4-(trifluoro-meth-yl)benzoate ligands. In this ligand, the CF(3) group is disordered by rotation about the C-C bond and the F atoms are distributed over two sets of sites with occupancies of 0.62?(3) and 0.38?(3). In the crystal, mol-ecules are assembled in a three-dimensional framework through weak C-H?O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:The title compound, C23H24O3, was obtained in a one-step (60% yield) synthesis from 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)ethane. It features a tripodal ligand capable of complexing metal centres. One of the three conformations involving the methyl group, the central C-C bond and the phenoxy substituents is antiperiplanar while the two others are synclinal [the corresponding C-C-C-O torsion angles are -174.6?(1), -53.2?(2) and -47.3?(2)°]. In the crystal, C-H?O inter-actions link the molecules into [010] chains.

Project description:In the title compound, C21H21O5PS·H2O·CH2Cl2, the phospho-nium-sulfonate zwitterion has the acidic H atom located on the P atom rather than the sulfonate group. The S-O bond lengths [1.4453 (15)-1.4521 (14) Å] are essentially equal. In the crystal, the water mol-ecules bridge two zwitterions via Owater-H⋯Osulfonate hydrogen bonds into a centrosymmetric dimer. The dimers are further linked by weak CAr-yl-H⋯Osulfonate hydrogen bonds into chains extending along [100]. The PH(+) group is not involved in inter-molecular inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C(13)H(13)NO(3)S, the benzene ring of the benzene-sulfonamide moiety is disordered with an occupancy ratio of 0.56 (3):0.44 (3), the disorder components being twisted at and angle of 21 (1)° to each other. The meth-oxy-benzene group is roughly planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0144 Å) and the amide N atom is displaced from this plane by 0.090 (6) Å. The dihedral angles between the meth-oxy-benzene group and the major and minor occupancy components of the disordered benzene ring are 54.6 (4) and 62.9 (5)°, respectively. In the crystal, infinite polymeric chains are formed along [100] due to inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding. Weak C-H⋯π inter-actions are also present in the crystal.
