In the crystal, pairs of N-H?N hydrogen bonds connect the mol-ecules into inversion dimers; these are connected by further N-H?N hydrogen bonds into a two-dimensional framework parallel to the bc plane.

The second H atom of the amine group shows a rather weak inter-action with two Br atoms, resulting in bifurcated N-H?(Br,Br) hydrogen bonds.
