{2-[1-(2-Meth-oxy-6-oxidophenyl-?O (6))ethyl-idene]-N-methyl-hydrazinecarbo-thio-amidato-?(2) N (2),S}(tri-phenyl-phosphane-?P)palladium(II) ethanol monosolvate.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Pd(C11H13N3O2S)(C18H15P)]·C2H5OH, the Pd(II) atom is tetra-coordinated in a slightly distorted square-planar environment by three donor atoms (NOS) from a thio-semicarbazonate ligand, forming five- and six-membered chelate rings, and a P atom from a neutral tri-phenyl-phosphane group. The five-membered ring adopts a distorted envelope conformation with Pd(II) as the flap atom, while the six-membered ring forms a slightly twisted screw-boat conformation. A slightly distorted screw-boat form of a meth-oxy-phenyl group is fused to the six-membered ring. Weak C-H?O inter-actions form dimers in the asymmetric unit and along [001] which help to stabilize the crystal packing.

Project description:The title compound, [Cu(C24H20NP2S2)(C18H15P)2]·CH2Cl2 or [Cu(dppaS2)(PPh3)2]·CH2Cl2, is a neutral mononuclear copper(I) complex bearing an N,N-bis-(di-phenyl-phospho-rothio-yl)amidate (dppaS2-) ligand and two tri-phenyl-phosphane ligands. The molecular structure shows that the two S atoms of the dppaS2- ligand [Cu-S = 2.3462?(9) and 2.3484?(9)?Å] and the two P atoms of the two tri-phenyl-phosphane ligands [Cu-P = 2.3167?(9) and 2.2969?(9)?Å] coordinate to the copper(I) atom, resulting in a tetra-hedral coordination geometry. The crystallographically observed mol-ecular structure is compared to the results of DFT calculations.

Project description:The title compound, C12H17N3OS, crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules (A and B) in the asymmetric unit. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the benzene ring and the hydrazinecarbo-thio-amide group are 6.9?(4) and 37.2?(5)° in mol-ecules A and B, respectively. An intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bond is observed in each mol-ecule. This serves to maintain an approximately planar conformation for mol-ecule A, but leaves a significant twist between these two groups in mol-ecule B. Project description:In the title compound, [AuFe(C(5)H(5))(C(5)H(5)O(2)PS)(C(18)H(15)P)]·CH(2)Cl(2), the two-coordinate gold(I) atom shows a slightly distorted linear arrangement, with a P-Au-S bond angle of 176.81 (6)°. The difference in P=O and P-O(H) bond lengths, which are 1.503 (6) and 1.541 (5) Å, respectively, implies there is apparently no delocalization between the P-O bonds, and the proton appears to be localized on one O atom only. In the crystal of compound 1·EtOH, the (E)-N'-[(1H-indol-3-yl)methyl-idene]isonicotinohydrazide and ethanol mol-ecules are linked by O-H?O, N-H?O and N-H?N hydrogen bonds, forming a tape structure running along the b-axis direction. The tapes are weakly linked via a C-H?N inter-action. In the crystal of compound 2, (E)-N-methyl-2-[1-(2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)ethyl-idene]hydrazinecarbo-thio-amide mol-ecules are linked via N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming a helical chain along the b-axis direction. The chains are further linked into a layer expanding parallel to (102) through C-H?S inter-actions.

Dimeric aggregates mediated by O-H⋯N(pyrazole) and amide-N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds feature in the crystal packing, whereby the ethanol mol-ecules link the independent organic mol-ecules, leading to four-mol-ecule aggregates.

Project description:The title compounds, C13H13N3O2S·0.5H2O, (I), and C17H14ClN3OS, (II), are hydrazinecarbo-thio-amide derivatives. Compound (I) crystallizes with two independent mol-ecules (A and B) and a water mol-ecule of crystallization in the asymmetric unit. The chromene moiety is essentially planar in mol-ecules A and B, with maximum deviations of 0.028 (3) and 0.016 (3) Å, respectively, for the carbonyl C atoms. In (II), the pyran ring of the chromene moiety adopts a screw-boat conformation and the phenyl ring is inclined by 61.18 (9)° to its mean plane. In the crystal of (I), bifurcated N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the two independent mol-ecules forming A-B dimers with two R 2 (1)(6) ring motifs, and R 2 (2)(10) and R 2 (2)(14) ring motifs. In addition to these, the water mol-ecule forms tetra-furcated hydrogen bonds which alternately generate R 4 (4)(12) and R 6 (6)(22) graph-set ring motifs. There are also π-π [inter-centroid distances = 3.5648 (14) and 3.6825 (15) Å] inter-actions present, leading to the formation of columns along the c-axis direction. In the crystal of (II), mol-ecules are linked by pairs of N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers with an R 2 (2)(8) ring motif. The dimers are linked by C-H⋯π inter-actions, forming ribbons lying parallel to (210).
