ABSTRACT: Dianous zhujianqingi Tang & Li, 2011 syn. n. is synonymised with Dianous cyaneovirens (Cameron, 1930). Additional records of Dianous yao Rougemont, 1981, Dianous haraldi Puthz, 2000 and Dianous huanghaoi Tang & Li, 2011 are provided.

Project description:Chinese species of Dianous group I are studied and three new species are described: Dianous fengtingaesp. n. from Hainan Province, Dianous zhujianqingisp. n. from Jiangxi and Guizhou Province, and Dianous huanghaoisp. n. from Yunnan Province. Dianous shan Rougemont and Dianous viridicupreus Rougemont are discovered from China for the first time. Their diagnostic characters are illustrated and a key to Chinese species of Dianous group I is provided.

Project description:Two new species, Stenus zhangdinghengisp. n., Stenus maoershanussp. n.,of the Stenus cirrus group are described from South China, Guangxi Province. The male of Stenus fellowesi Puthz, 2003 and the female of Stenus huanghaoi Tang & Li, 2008 were discovered for the first time. Their diagnostic characters are illustrated and a key to the Chinese species of the Stenus cirrus group is provided.

Project description:The monotypic genus Buobellenden Yin & Nomura, 2009 is placed as a junior synonym of Bellenden Chandler, 2001. This act results in Bellenden jingyuanensis (Yin & Nomura), comb. n. (from Buobellenden). A new species, Bellenden siguniang Yin & Jang, sp. n., collected from the alpine area in Sichuan, SW China, is described, illustrated, and distinguished from all congeners. A new illustration of the aedeagus of Buobellenden jingyuanensis is given.
