Genome Sequence of Burkholderia cenocepacia H111, a Cystic Fibrosis Airway Isolate.


ABSTRACT: The Burkholderia cepacia complex (BCC) is a group of related bacterial species that are commonly isolated from environmental samples. Members of the BCC can cause respiratory infections in cystic fibrosis patients and immunocompromised individuals. We report here the genome sequence of Burkholderia cenocepacia H111, a well-studied model strain of the BCC.
