ABSTRACT: Depression is a risk factor for nonadherence to HIV/AIDS treatment.A meta-analysis was conducted to examine whether treatment of depression and psychological distress improves antiretroviral therapy adherence.PubMed and PsycINFO databases were systematically searched for relevant articles.
