ABSTRACT: The title compound, C12H8ClFN2OS, is a hydrazide derivative adopting an E conformation with an azomethine N=C double bond length of 1.272?(2)?Å. The mol-ecular skeleton is approximately planar; the terminal five- and six-membered rings form a dihedral angle of 5.47?(9)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds into zigzag chains propagating in [100].
