Genome Sequence of Porphyromonas gingivalis Strain HG66 (DSM 28984).

ABSTRACT: Porphyromonas gingivalis is considered a major etiologic agent in adult periodontitis. Gingipains are among its most important virulence factors, but their release is unique in strain HG66. We present the genome sequence of HG66 with a single contig of 2,441,680 bp and a G+C content of 48.1%.
