<h4>Objective</h4>African Americans are disproportionately burdened by asthma. We assessed the individual and joint contribution of socioeconomic status (SES) on asthma morbidity among African American youth.<h4>Methods</h4>We examined 686 African Americans (8-21 years) with asthma.
