Crystal structure of trans-aqua-(perchlorato-?O)bis-(propane-1,3-di-amine-?(2) N,N')copper(II) perchlorate.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, [Cu(ClO4)(C3H10N2)2(H2O)]ClO4, the Cu(II) atom has a distorted octa-hedral coordination sphere and is coordinated by the N atoms of two propane-1,3-di-amine ligands in the equatorial plane. The axial positions are occupied by a water O atom and an O atom of a disordered perchlorate anion [occupancy ratio 0.631?(9):0.369?(9)]. In the crystal, the various components are linked via O-H?O, N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming sheets lying parallel to (001).

In the title compound, [Cu(ClO4)(C3H10N2)2(H2O)]ClO4, the Cu(II) atom has a distorted octa-hedral coordination sphere and is coordinated by the N atoms of two propane-1,3-di-amine ligands in the equatorial plane. Project description:The title complex, [Cd(C(6)H(17)N(3))(2)](ClO(4))(NO(3)), was synthesized by the reaction of Cd(NO(3))(2)·4H(2)O, bis-(3-amino-prop-yl)-amine and sodium perchlorate in methanol. The asymmetric unit of the title complex consists of one Cd(2+) cation, two tridentate bis-(3-amino-prop-yl)amine ligands, one nitrate anion and one perchlorate anion. The Cd(2+) cation is coordinated by six N atoms of the bis-(3-amino-prop-yl)amine ligands in a slightly distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry. In the crystal, mol-ecules are held together by an intricate network of N-H?O inter-actions. One of the two amine ligands was found to be disordered over two sets of sites, with a ratio of 0.802?(3):0.198?(3), similarly to the nitrate anion, with a ratio of 0.762?(10):0.238?(10).

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cu(C2H8N2)2(H2O)2](C11H11N4O2S)2, contains one sulfamerazinate anion in a general position and one half-cation that is located on a center of inversion. The Cu(II) cation shows a strong Jahn-Teller distortion. It is coordinated by four N atoms of two ethyl-enedi-amine ligands in the basal plane and two O atoms at much longer distances in the axial positions in a bipyramidal coordination. In the crystal, the building blocks are connected by N-H?N, O-H?N, N-H?O and O-H?O hydrogen bonding into a two-dimensional network parallel to (001).

Project description:In the title compound, [Cu(ClO(4))(2)(C(12)H(13)N(3))(C(2)H(3)N)], the Cu(II) atom is six-coordinate in a Jahn-Teller distorted octahedral geometry, with coordination by the tridentate chelating ligand, an acetonitrile mol-ecule, and two axial perchlorate anions. The tridentate ligand bis-(2-pyridylmeth-yl)amine chelates meridionally and equatorially while an acetonitrile mol-ecule is coordinated at the fourth equatorial site. The two perchlorate anions are disordered with site occupancy factors of 0.72/0.28. The amine H is involved in intra-molecular hydrogen bonding to the perchlorate O atoms and there are extensive but weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Project description:The Zn(II) ion in the title compound, [Zn(C(15)H(14)N(10))(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2), lies on a centre of symmetry. The distorted N(4)O(2) octa-hedral coordination environment around the Zn atom is composed of two 1,3-bis-[5-(2-pyrid-yl)-2H-tetra-zol-2-yl]propane ligands (L1) and two water mol-ecules, coordinated in trans positions. The ligand acts as a typical bidentate chelating ligand through one of its 2-pyridyl-2H-tetra-zole units, forming a five-membered Zn-N-C-C-N metallacycle with a small N-Zn-N bite angle [77.40 (8)°]. The other 2-pyridyl-2H-tetra-zole unit remains uncoordinated. The average Zn-N distance (2.156 Å) is somewhat longer than the distance between the Zn(II) center and the aqua ligand [2.108 (2) Å]. The coordinated pyrid-yl-tetra-zoyl rings are quasi-coplanar, making a dihedral angle of 1.9 (2)°, while the uncoordinated rings show a larger inter-planar angle of 21.3 (2)°. The flexible propane spacer displays a zigzag chain. Inter-molecular O-H⋯N and O-H⋯O inter-actions result in two-dimensional polymeric structures parallel to (100). Two C atoms of the spacer are disordered over two positions, with site occupancy factors of ca 0.85 and 0.15.
