Aorta-to-Left Atrial Fistula Caused by Air Gun Pellet Cardiac Injury.


ABSTRACT: Abnormal communication between the ascending aorta and the cardiac chambers is rare, diverse in origin, and can be congenital or acquired. We report a case of a 10-year-old boy with acquired aorta-to-left atrial fistula associated with an air gun pellet injury and his successful treatment.
