In this work, cytotoxicity and cellular impedance response was compared for CdSe/ZnS core/shell quantum dots (QDs) with positively charged cysteamine-QDs, negatively charged dihydrolipoic acid-QDs and zwitterionic D-penicillamine-QDs exposed to canine kidney MDCKII cells.
