<h4>Purpose</h4>To investigate the roles of melanoma-associated macrophages in melanoma resistance to BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi).<h4>Experimental design</h4>An in vitro macrophage and melanoma cell coculture system was used to investigate whether macrophages play a role in melanoma resistance to BRAFi.
