Project description:The new compound (Na0.4,Li0.6)(Fe,Li2)(MoO4)3 was synthesized by cooling from the melt. Its anionic framework is built up from two distinct MO6 octa-hedra, each containing disordered Li(+) and Fe(3+) ions in 0.6:0.4 and 0.7:0.3 ratios, and two MoO4 tetra-hedra, which link by vertex-sharing of their O atoms. These tetra-meric units are further linked by sharing edges between octa-hedra and by formation of M-O-Mo (M = Fe/Li) bridges, forming ribbons propagating in the [100] direction. The ribbons are cross-linked in both the b- and c-axis directions, giving rise to a three-dimensional framework having [100] tunnels in which the monovalent Na(+)/Li(+) cations (0.4:0.6 ratio) lie. Bond-valence calculations are consistent with the disorder model for the cations. The structure of the title compound, which is isotypic with Li3Fe(MoO4)3 and Li3Ga(MoO4)3, is compared briefly with those of LiFeMo2O8 and Li1.6Mn2.2(MoO4)3.

Project description:The title compound, Ag0.60Na0.40Fe(MoO4)2 {silver sodium iron(III) bis-[molyb-date(VI)]}, was synthesized by a solid-state reaction. The structure is built up from FeO6 octa-hedra and MoO4 tetra-hedra sharing corners to form a two-dimensional framework parallel to the (001) plane. The occupationally disordered (Ag/Na)(+) cations are located in the inter-layer space. These [Fe(MoO4)2 (-)] n layers are similar to those in the isotypic yavapaiite-related structure of NaFe(MoO4)2. All atoms are on general positions except for Fe (site symmetry -1) and Ag/Na (site symmetry 2). The Ag/Na occupancies of the latter site were refined to 0.597 (4):0.403 (5). The title structure is compared to similar structures.

Project description:The title compound, nonasodium chromium(III) hexakis[molybdate(VI)], ?-Na9CrMo6O24, was prepared by solid-state reactions. This alluaudite-type structure is constituted of infinite layers formed by links between M 2O10 (M = C/Na) dimers and MoO4 tetra-hedra. The Na(+) and Cr(3+) cations are located in the same site with, respectively, 0.25 and 0.75 occupancies. The layers are connected to each other through MoO4 sharing corners, resulting an in open three-dimensional framework with hexa-gonal-form cavities occupied by Na(+) cations. The proposed structural model is supported by charge-distribution (CHARDI) and bond-valence-sum (BVS) analysis. All atoms are on general positions except for one Mo, two Na (site symmetry 2) and another Na site (site symmetry -1). A comparison is made with the similar structures Na4Co(MoO4)3, Na2Ni(MoO4)2, Cu1.35Fe3(PO4)3 and NaAgFeMn2(PO4)3.

Project description:A new silver aluminium trimangan-ese penta-molybdate {silver(I) trimanganese(II) aluminium penta-kis-[tetra-oxidomolybdate(VI)]}, AgMn(II) 3(Mn(III) 0,26Al0,74)(MoO4)5, has been synthesized using solid-state methods. The structure is composed of M 2O10 dimers, M 3O14 (M = Mn, Al) trimers and MoO4 tetra-hedra sharing corners and forming three types of layers A, B and B'. The sequence of the constituting layers is A-BB'-A-BB', with B' obtained from B by inversion symmetry, forming a three-dimensional structure with large channels in which the positionally disordered and partially occupied Ag(+) ions reside. The Mn(III) and Al(III) atoms share the same site, M. AgMn(II) 3(Mn(III) 0,26Al0,74)(MoO4)5 is isotypic with the NaMg3 X(MoO4)5 (X = Al, In) family and with NaFe4(MoO4)5. A comparative structural description is provided between the structure of the title compound and those of related phases containing dimers, trimers and tetra-mers.

Project description:Introduction Les patients en hémodialyse chronique (HDC) ne peuvent rester confinés (séances de dialyse), et sont à risque de formes graves de COVID-19 (comorbidités, immunodépression). Leurs soignants sont également exposés. Description Objectif principal : prévalence à M0 de la séroconversion SARS-CoV-2 dans une cohorte de patients HDC. Objectifs secondaires : (1) prévalence à M0 de la séroconversion chez les soignants en dialyse ; (2) proportion de COVID-19 asymptomatiques, et association avec les caractéristiques cliniques et comorbidités ; (3) prévalence de la séroconversion à M0 chez les participants ayant présenté une COVID-19 documentée ; (4) cinétique de la séroconversion et évolution de l’épidémie (2e test à M3) ; (5) valeur prédictive d’une séroconversion à M0 sur le risque de COVID-19 symptomatique à M6 ; (7) performances diagnostiques intrinsèques du test rapide (vs gold standard sérologique). Méthodes Étude de cohorte multicentrique (NCT04420338), 4 centres de dialyse d’Aix-Marseille, tri à l’arrivée à chaque séance (signes cliniques de COVID-19) depuis début mars 2020 (arrivée de l’épidémie dans la région). Critères d’inclusion : âge ≥ 18 ans, patient HDC ou soignant de dialyse. Critères de non-inclusion : personne protégée. Déroulement : inclusion synchronisée des participants en juin 2020. Recueil des données cliniques et tests sérologiques rapides Biosynex à M0 et M3 (patients et soignants). Sérum prélevé à M0 et M3 (patients uniquement) pour la sérologie gold standard ultérieure (ELISA et séro-neutralisation). Suivi jusqu’à M6 (survenue d’une COVID-19 ?). Nombre de participants : 800 (561 patients, 239 soignants). Résultats Prévalence de la séroconversion à M0 chez les patients HDC et leurs soignants, prévalence des formes asymptomatiques, et association avec les caractéristiques cliniques et comorbidités. Conclusion Étude menée dans une région moyennement touchée par la pandémie, qui fera avancer les connaissances et l’organisation des soins en dialyse.

Project description:Introduction Les formes sévères d’infection à SARS-CoV-2 sont liées à une importante réponse inflammatoire. Certains biomédicaments (BM) sont en cours d’évaluation dans des essais thérapeutiques avec pour rationnel cet orage cytokinique. À l’inverse, nous pouvons nous interroger sur le risque d’infection à SARS-CoV-2 chez les patients au long cours sous BM. L’objectif principal de notre étude était de déterminer l’impact de la prise d’un biomédicament sur le taux d’hospitalisation, de passage en réanimation (ICU) et de décès chez les patients sous BM atteints d’une infection à SARS-CoV-2. Matériel et méthodes Étude de cohorte rétrospective multicentrique à partir des données médico-administratives de l’Entrepôt de Données de Santé (EDS) de l’APHP. L’ensemble des patients recevant un BM (anti-TNF, anti-IL-12/23, anti-IL-17 ou anti-intégrine) était inclus. Les événements d’intérêt étaient la survenue d’une hospitalisation, d’un séjour en ICU ou d’un décès dans le cadre d’une infection à SARS-CoV-2 (confirmée par RT-PCR ou TDM thoracique) entre le 01/02 et le 22/04/20. Le risque d’hospitalisation/ICU/décès était évalué selon la méthodologie du Ratio de Morbidité/Mortalité Standardisé (SMR) en calculant le rapport entre le nombre observé et le nombre attendu. Le nombre attendu d’hospitalisation/ICU/décès était calculé en appliquant le taux d’hospitalisation/ICU/décès à SARS-CoV-2 de la population d’Ile-de-France (par tranche âge de 20 ans et sexe) au nombre de personnes sous BM dans la sous-classe correspondante de la même source de données (données EDS de l’AP–HP). Résultats Un total de 7 808 patients (âge médian 45 ans, 51 % de femmes) étaient inclus, dont 48 avec un diagnostic d’infection à SARS-CoV-2, 19 (40 %) hospitalisés, 4 (8 %) en ICU et 1 décès. En comparaison avec la population d’Ile-de-France, les taux d’hospitalisation et d’ICU étaient significativement élevés chez les patients sous BM avec SR = 2,19, 95 %CI 1,32–3,42, p < 0,001 et SR = 6,04, 95 %CI 1,62–15,45, p < 0,001 respectivement, significativement observés chez les [20–40]. Cependant, une analyse post-hoc suggérait que les SR d’hospitalisation et d’ICU étaient surestimés, un retour aux comptes rendus mettant en évidence une poussée de la pathologie sous-jacente comme principal motif d’hospitalisation chez les [20-40[et non une infection à SARS-CoV-2 nécessitant une hospitalisation ou un passage en ICU. Aucun sur-risque de mortalité n’était mis en évidence. Discussion À partir d’une large base de données, notre étude a permis de confirmer que les taux d’hospitalisation, de passage en ICU et de mortalité n’étaient pas augmentés chez les patients sous BM. Nos résultats concordent avec les différentes études publiées dans la littérature (Haberman et al., Favalli et al., ou Sanchez-Piedra et al.). Ces résultats plaident pour un maintien des BM en période d’épidémie du virus SARS-CoV-2 pour éviter la rechute des pathologies inflammatoires de fond.

It is coordinated by four N atoms of four imidazole (Im) groups in the basal plane, and by a Cl atom in the apical position. It is isostructural with [Cu(Im)4Cl]Cl [Morzyk-Ociepa et al. (2012 ▸). J. Mol. Struct. 1028, 49-56] and [Cu(Im)4Br]Br [Hossaini Sadr et al. (2004 ▸). Acta Cryst. E60, m1324-m1326]. In the crystal, the [CoCl(C3H4N2)4](+) cations and Cl(-) anions are linked via N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to (010). These layers are linked via C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π and π-π [inter-centroid distance = 3.794 (2) Å] inter-actions, forming a three-dimensional framework. The IR spectrum shows vibrational bands typical for imidazol groups. The monoclinic unit cell of the title compound emulates an ortho-rhom-bic cell as its β angle is close to 90°. The crystal is twinned, with the refined ratio of twin components being 0.569 (1):0.431 (1).

Project description:Introduction et but de l’étude NutriCoviD30 est une étude nationale multicentrique apportant les premières données objectives observationnelles sur les symptômes, répercussions et interventions nutritionnelles, 30 j après hospitalisation des patients pour COVID-19. Matériel et méthodes Après autorisation à démarrer l’étude de type 3 non interventionnelle (loi Jardé-NCT04365816) : détermination, à partir de la liste des sortants d’unités COVID, des patients à appeler 30 j après retour à domicile. Après information et non-opposition du patient, entretien téléphonique (avec aidant si besoin) pour recueil de données. Questionnaire comportant : informations sur séjour, poids et nutrition pendant hospitalisation, antécédents médicaux, symptômes ressentis de la maladie, évaluation de la prise alimentaire par échelle verbale/visuelle analogique SEFI® (Score d’Évaluation Facile des Ingesta), évolution du poids, alimentation et impact à 1 mois. Résultats et analyse statistique Les patients inclus ont été hospitalisés entre le 2 mars et 19 mai 2020 dans 11 hôpitaux, répartis dans 6 CHU et 5 régions françaises. Les données de 403 patients (sur 945 potentiellement incluables) ont pu être analysées. Population : 63 % d’hommes, âge moyen = 62,2 ± 14,2 ans, IMC moyen = 28,8 ± 5,3 kg/m2. Vingt pour cent des patients vivaient seuls, 2 % en EHPA/EHPAD, 78 % à plusieurs. Durée médiane [interquartile] de séjour = 13 j [8 ; 20], dont 30 % de passage en réanimation (médiane = 11 j [6 ; 20]) et 26 % en SSR. Assistance ventilatoire : 20 % sans O2, 34 % avec O2 < 3 L/min, 27 % avec O2 > 3 L/min, 19 %intubation. Quatre-vingt pour cent avaient au moins 1 maladie chronique. Les médianes de SEFI® étaient de 2,5/10 [1 ; 5] au plus mal (T1) pendant durée moyenne 10 j ± 8 ; de 7,5 [5 ; 0] à la sortie de l’hôpital (T2) et 10 [8 ; 10] à 1 mois de la sortie (T3). Le SEFI® change significativement avec le temps : +3,5 [2 ; 6] entre T1–T2, +6 [3 ; 8] entre T1–T3. Le poids moyen était 83,4 ± 17,3 kg avant la maladie, 77,0 ± 15,8 kg à l’hôpital et 78,9 ± 15,4 kg à 1 mois de la sortie : soit perte de poids moyenne significative de 8 % du poids d’origine (−6,5 kg poids brut) durant l’hospitalisation et gain de poids significatif de 4 % à 1 mois après la sortie (p < 0,001). Cinquante-sept pour cent des patients font habituellement attention à leur poids (dont 40 % pour perdre) et 42 % à leur alimentation (dont 23 % restrictive ou « sans »). Parmi les patients qui n’ont pas récupéré leur poids à 1 mois, 62 % invoquent une raison volontaire. Vingt-neuf pour cent des patients ont été en contact avec un diététicien ou médecin nutritionniste à l’hôpital, 24 % après leur sortie. Quarante-sept pour cent déclarent avoir eu une alimentation orale adaptée, 51 % des compléments nutritionnels oraux à l’hôpital, 8 % à la sortie. On retrouve 14 % de nutrition entérale et 6 % parentérale. À 1 mois de la sortie, 4 % ont altéré leur alimentation, 16 % adaptée, 18 % équilibrée, 63 %retrouvé une prise alimentaire habituelle. Une très grande fatigue reste le signe persistant pour 34 %. Conclusion Ces résultats vont permettre d’orienter les prises en charge, la prévention de la dénutrition et argumenter en faveur des recommandations des sociétés savantes.

Project description:ObjectiveOnly a minority of drug and alcohol users develops a substance use disorder. Previous studies suggest that this differential vulnerability commonly reflects a developmental trajectory characterized by diverse externalizing behaviors. In this study, we examined the relation between child and adolescent externalizing behaviors and adolescent substance use in a prospectively followed Canadian birth cohort, accounting for the temporal sequence of a wide variety of contributing factors.MethodsTwo hundred and forty-two adolescents followed since birth (date range: 1996 to 2012) were assessed on externalizing behavior (age 17 months to 16 years), alcohol and cannabis use at age 16, age of alcohol use onset, family history of substance use problems, family functioning (age 11 to 15), sensation seeking (age 16), prenatal substance exposure, socioeconomic status (age 1 to 9), and sex.ResultsAge of alcohol use onset was predicted by a family history of substance use problems, externalizing traits from ages 6 to 10 and 11 to 16, sensation seeking at age 16, prenatal alcohol and tobacco exposure and family functioning at ages 11 to 15. High frequencies of alcohol and cannabis use at age 16 were both predicted by externalizing traits from ages 11 to 16, a family history of substance use problems and sensation seeking after controlling for other individual, environmental and familial variables. The association between familial substance use problems and substance use during adolescence was partially mediated by externalizing traits from age 11 to 16.ConclusionsThe present findings provide prospective evidence for a developmental risk pathway for adolescent substance use, potentially identifying those who could benefit from early interventions.

Mn(2+) and the third type of Na(+) cations are located at the same site M with occupancies of 0.75 and 0.25, respectively. A comparative structural description is provided between the structure of the title compound and those of the related phases Cu1.35Fe3(PO4)3 and NaAgFeMn2(PO4)3.
