2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) is the most toxic congener of the polyhalogenated aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), which causes anatomical abnormalities and developmental defects, impairs ovulation and reduces fertility.
