The 44.4-kb genome contains 81 protein-coding genes, for which 33 functions were predicted. The capsid morphogenesis gene in Snoke contains a large intein.

Its linear genome sequence consists of 59,550?bp (43.4% GC content) and contains 88 predicted genes, including 4 involved in archaeosine biosynthesis. Phage BRET is related (95% nucleotide identity) to Enterobacteria phage JenK1.

Pisces is a T7-like phage, and all 49 predicted protein-coding genes in it are present on a single strand and are surrounded by 190-bp terminal repeats. Due to its similarity to other T7-like phages, 61% of Pisces genes were assigned a predicted function.
