ABSTRACT: Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Moorella thermoacetica DSM 2955(T), an acetogenic bacterium, which uses the Wood-Ljungdahl pathway for reduction of H2 + CO2 or CO. The genome consists of a single circular chromosome (2.62 Mb).
