<h4>Objective</h4>To use quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to test whether mediobasal hypothalamic (MBH) gliosis is associated with obesity and insulin resistance in humans.<h4>Methods</h4>Sixty-seven participants underwent a fasting blood draw and MRI.
