Genomes of two trichloroethene (TCE)-respiring Dehalococcoides (Dhc) mccartyi, strains MB and 11a, were sequenced to identify reductive dehalogenases (RDase) responsible for oraganohalide respiration. Transcription analyses were conducted to verify the roles of RDase subunit A genes (rdhA) in chloroethene respiration.
