Complete Genome Sequence of Bacillus megaterium Bacteriophage Eldridge.


ABSTRACT: In this study the complete genome sequence of the unique bacteriophage Eldridge, isolated from soil using ITALIC! Bacillus megateriumas the host organism, was determined. Eldridge is a myovirus with a genome consisting of 242 genes and is unique when compared to phage sequences in GenBank.
