Stenotrophomonas maltophilia harbors six lytic transglycosylases (LTs): mltA, mltB1, mltB2, mltD1, mltD2, and slt LT deletion increased susceptibility of S. maltophilia to aminoglycosides (AGs) and macrolides, and the underlying mechanisms were investigated.
