Description of a new species of Pseudomegischus van Achterberg from China (Hymenoptera, Stephanidae).

ABSTRACT: A new species of the genus Pseudomegischus van Achterberg, Pseudomegischus yunnanensis sp. n., is described and illustrated from Yunnan Province, China. This is the second species of the genus reported from China. A modified section of the identification key to species of Pseudomegischus is added to include the new species.

One species is new for the Vietnamese fauna: Canalirogasspilonotus (Cameron, 1905) and Canalirogasbalgooyi van Achterberg & Chen, 1996, is synonymized with it (syn. n.); a lectotype is designated for Troporhogasspilonotus. A key to the Vietnamese species of the genus is also provided.
