Pseudouridine is found in almost all cellular ribonucleic acids (RNAs). Of the multiple characteristics attributed to pseudouridine, making messenger RNAs (mRNAs) highly translatable and non-immunogenic is one such feature that directly implicates this modification in protein synthesis.
