Two species of the <i>Habronattus clypeatus</i> species group are described, <i>Habronattus arcalorus</i><b>sp. n.</b> from Texas and Colorado, and <i>Habronattus gilaensis</i><b>sp. n.</b> from New Mexico. <i>Habronattus arcalorus</i> males have extravagant ornamentation: a green first leg with an unusually dense lateral fringe of orange and white hairs, and a large grey triangular patella on the third leg with blue-white scales nearby. <i>Habronattus gilaensis</i> males are considerably more m ...[more]
