<h4>Objective</h4>Calreticulin (CALR) plays important roles in cell proliferation, apoptosis, and immune responses. CALR mutations were described recently in Janus kinase 2 gene (JAK2)-negative or MPL-negative primary myelofibrosis (PMF) and essential thrombocythemia (ET) patients.
