Complete Genome Sequences of Two Newcastle Disease Virus Strains Isolated from a Wild Duck and a Pigeon in Russia.

ABSTRACT: Here, we report the complete genome sequences of two Newcastle disease virus (NDV) isolates, Adygea/duck/12/2008, from a wild duck in Russia, and Altai/pigeon/777/2010, from a pigeon in Russia. Based on comparative sequence analysis of the F gene, these strains were classified as NDV class II, genotypes VIId and VIb/2, respectively.

Project description:The full-genome sequences of strains chicken/Indonesia/Cilebut/010WJ/2015 and chicken/Indonesia/ITA/012WJ/1951, isolated in West Java, Indonesia, in 2015 and 1951, respectively, were examined. Chicken/Indonesia/Cilebut/010WJ/2015 (genotype VII) caused a 2015 disease outbreak in Indonesia, and chicken/Indonesia/ITA/012WJ/1951 (genotype VI) is used as a standard strain for challenge in Newcastle disease virus (NDV) vaccine trials.

Project description:Rabies virus (RABV) strains Rus(Lipetsk)-8052f, Rus(Lipetsk)-8053c, Rus(Lipetsk)-8054f, and Rus(Lipetsk)-8057f were isolated from foxes (Vulpes vulpes) and a cat (Felis catus) in the Lipetsk region of Russia in 2011.
