Heavy metal pollution is a serious problem for <i>Lentinula edodes</i>; however, the treatment of contaminated <i>L. edodes</i> has seldom been studied. This study investigated the removal of cadmium (Cd) from contaminated <i>L. edodes</i> and its lentinan by complexation and coagulation. Some influencing factors, such as pH, medical dosage, and preoxidation were examined.
