Little is known about the neuronal voltage-gated sodium channels (NaVs) that control neurotransmission in the parasympathetic nervous system. We evaluated the expression of the <i>α</i> subunits of each of the nine NaVs in human, guinea pig, and mouse airway parasympathetic ganglia.
