First Complete Genome Sequences of Porcine Bocavirus Strains from East Africa.

ABSTRACT: Here, we report the first complete genome sequences of two strains of porcine bocavirus (JOA_011 and JOA_015) detected in Uganda and Kenya, respectively. These data will help in understanding the molecular and evolutionary characteristics of the porcine bocaviruses in this region and the development of appropriate diagnostic and control tools.

First complete genome sequence of canine bocavirus 2 in mainland China.

Project description:We obtained the first full-length genome sequence of canine bocavirus 2 (CBoV2) from the faeces of a healthy dog in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, mainland China. The genome of GZHD15 consisted of 5059 nucleotides. Sequence analysis suggested that GZHD15 was close to a previously circulated Hong Kong isolate.

Complete Genome Sequences of Porcine Deltacoronavirus Strains DH1/2016 and DH2/2016 Isolated in South Korea.

Project description:Two porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) strains, named DH1/2016 and DH2/2016, were isolated from feces of piglets which had severe watery diarrhea symptoms. A comparison of the complete genome sequences suggested that the DH1/2016 and DH2/2016 strains are highly homologous to each other and to PDCoVs isolated in early 2014 from the United States.
