<i>Folsomia minorae</i><b>sp. n.</b> and <i>Folsomia australica</i><b>sp. n.</b> are described from New Zealand and Australia, respectively. Their possible affinity to two different groups of <i>Cryptopygus</i><i>sensu stricto</i> is discussed.
