Twelve Holstein bulls were used in a 4 × 4 Latin square design to investigate the effects of using whole-crop wheat hay (WCWH) as a substitute for Leymus chinensis (LC) on apparent digestibility, plasma parameters, ruminal fermentation, and microbial communities.
