The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most commonly injured knee ligament, particularly among adolescents and young adults. Unrecognized posterolateral laxity is understood as a major cause of ACL reconstruction failure, and concomitant injury to the posterolateral corner (PLC) is prevalent and underdetected.
