¹H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)-based metabolomics was used to characterize the response of <i>Daphnia magna</i> after sub-lethal exposure to perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), a commonly found environmental pollutant in freshwater ecosystems.
