<i>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</i> (<i>Mtb</i>) executes a plethora of immune-evasive mechanisms, which contribute to its pathogenesis, limited efficacy of current therapy, and the emergence of drug-resistant strains. This has led to resurgence in attempts to develop new therapeutic strategies/targets against tuberculosis (TB).
