Heavy metals incidence in the aquatic environment and its accumulation in fish are under constant review. Gilthead seabream (<i>Sparus aurata</i>) specimens were exposed for two weeks to sediments highly concentrated in metals, collected at the Portman Bay (Murcia, Spain).
