A thermo-responsive surface was fabricated by depositing poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) onto polydopamine coated cell culture substrata through free radical polymerization for the purpose of culturing and harvesting human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs).
