The photoluminescence properties of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), including the large Stokes shift and the absence of fluorescent photobleaching, can be used as a fluorescent label in biological measurements. In this study, the performance of CNTs as a fluorescent label for surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-assisted fluoroimmunoassay is evaluated.
