Here we describe a new strategy, HILAQ (Heavy Isotope Labeled Azidohomoalanine Quantification), to rapidly quantify the molecular vulnerability profile to oxytosis, which is an oxidative stress-induced programed cell death pathway that has been reported to be involved in aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
