Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) cell wall glycolipid mannose-capped lipoarabinomannan (ManLAM) inhibits CD4<sup>+</sup> T-cell activation by inhibiting proximal T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling when activated by anti-CD3.
