In LaAlO<sub>3</sub>/SrTiO<sub>3</sub> heterostructures, a gate tunable superconducting electron gas is confined in a quantum well at the interface between two insulating oxides. Remarkably, the gas coexists with both magnetism and strong Rashba spin-orbit coupling.
