Lobomycosis is a chronic skin mycosis endemic in Amazon regions characterized by chronic nodular or keloidal lesions caused by <i>Lacazia loboi</i>, an uncultivable fungus. Imported cases in nonendemic countries are rare and diagnosed after years.
