4-Hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (EC 1.13.11.27, HPPD) is a potent new bleaching herbicide target. Therefore, <i>in silico</i> structure-based virtual screening was performed in order to speed up the identification of promising HPPD inhibitors.
