<h4>Objective</h4><i>α</i> (<i>CAMK2A</i>) and <i>β</i> (<i>CAMK2B</i>) isoforms of Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) play a pivotal role in neuronal plasticity and in learning and memory processes in the brain.
